Self-contained, Single Unit Design The Monroe Multi-Stage Oil Mist Collector is air designed to collect and remove airborne oil mist, smoke, and sub-micron vapors generated by operations such as high production machining and cold purification forming. It is a multiple stage collector that has proven capabilities exceeding 99% efficiency on many installations. After installation of a Monroe Multi-Stage Oil Mist Collector, high production systems machining areas using water soluble, synthetic or mineral coolants can discharge clean, filtered air back into the work area, reducing system costs. Broad Range of Industrial Capacities he Monroe Multi-Stage Oil Mist Collector air is available in capacities from 500 CFM to over 80,000 CFM in a single unit and may be integrated with existing ductwork and ventilation systems. Designed for Minimum Maintenance Air flow to filter media ratio is held low to prevent saturation blocking. This eliminates down-time due to collector malfunction and minimizes periodic changing of filter media. The Monroe Multi-Stage Oil Mist Collector is designed for continuous draining during operation, Design Leadership The Monroe Multi-Stage Oil Mist Collector, with more filter media, longer operating time between filter changes, and higher collection efficiency, outperforms all other collectors in its class.

Many purification and systems Configurations Available Monroe Multi-Stage Oil Mist Collectors are available in various configurations to meet your needs. Units can be air suspended from the ceiling purification or other supporting tructures to conserve floor space. System Design The Monroe Fiber Bed Mist Collector is a custom designed unit consisting of a continuous-duty, aerosol coalescing filter, fan assembly and, when needed, an optional pre-filter stage. Mist is coalesced using Koch-Otto York FLEXIFIBER® mist eliminators consisting of fine fibers. The compacted media is in the form of cylindrical units. These long-life filters can provide several years systems of service before replacement is necessary. When the mist contains air heavy droplets and/or dust particles, pre-filtering is provided by separate filters. The Monroe Fiber Bed Mist Collector is available in capacities from 500 to 50,000 CFM in a single unit and may be integrated with existing duct work. The Monroe Fiber Bed Mist Collector is well purification suited for many oil mist applications including high systems production machining, asphalt fumes and synthetic fiber processing. Many industrial and chemical applications generate air sub-micron mists. The Monroe Fiber Bed Mist Collector, developed after lengthy research and testing, is an ideal solution for these troublesome mists. Mist particles are efficiently removed through interception, inertial impact, diffusion (Brownian movement) and gravitational sedimentation.

Independent laboratory tests have shown that many of these units are removing various types of airborne pariculate at efficiencies up to 99.9%, even on heavy particulate loads. A purification High Volume Water Injector The Monroe Dual Throat Air Scrubber utilizes a high systems volume air wash water injector system that removes airborne particulate by delivering an initial surface inpingement shock to heavy purification inlet dirt loads. Dual Adjustable Scrubbing Throats High velocity atomization takes place as the inlet air is directed through the fixed and dual adjustable scrubbing throats. The easily adjustable dual throats balance the pressure drop through the air flow system at the start-up or after system systems changes are made. This design feature eliminates the need for ductwork dampers and blast gates that are prone to particulate air build-up and require periodic maintenance. In addition, the increase in pressure drop in the wash zone improves the overall effciency of the system. After passing through the turbulent dual throat wash zone, the air inpinges on the liquid surface, changes purification direction and then continues through systems deflectors and to a air large, double row moisture eliminator section. purification Water droplets in the airstream are removed and drain back to the wash liquid reservoir tank. The clean, dry air is then recirculated systems to the work area or discharged through exhaust ducts.
